Shellac Update - Day 4

I know this isnt a negative vent but i feel so happy that i just wanna shout it out to the world! best 35 bucks spent in so long! i just hope the reviews where the women said their nails become thin as hell after removing the shellac are untrue. AHHH i dont wanna lose my naillssss

People who dont give a shit about hygiene/other people

Yes. I'm talking to you: you are sick and you are aware of it. But you think doctors and scientists are dumbasses when they say flus and colds are contagious. you sneeze/cough uncovered and share drinks depite people yelling at you to stay away from their straws and then say "oh get over it nothing happens". YES YOU. i wanna punch you in the face. i think you owe it to me to nurse me back to health cuz it was YOUR CLAIM that germs are not transferable when you secretly sipped from my 5th straw (yes i saw you).

WHY CANT WE ALL JUST KEEP DISTANCE, WASH OUR HANDS AND MAINTAIN SIMPLE BASIC HYGIENE? WHY?

and when i tell people my immune system is crap, they laugh. when i fall sick, they call me dramatic. WTF. i should just start wearing a bubble around me Dexter (dexter's lab - the cartoon not the dark tv series) style.

French Manicure for 14 Days???

So, i was doing my random errands in boston when i felt like it was time to get my nails done. after a very creepy encounter with a libyan guy at starbucks, i walked to my fav nail salon on newbury st. and sat down for a simple mani. My manicurist kept trying to sell me Shellac nails. Apparently, they are chip-proof for 2 weeks, look exactly like a normal mani, have no dry time and are perfectly healthy for your nail. When she started telling me they were gels and have been around for a year, i couldnt help but link them to gel nails (which my roommate has and the procedure didnt sound too good for your real nail). Anyways, after watching more than half the other customers get it done, i was sold. I am currently on day 2 of my shellac french and it looks like they were just done. lets see if the 14 day claim holds. How awesome would it be if it does?! pretty awesome i say.

speaking of awesome, i was at sephora yesterday (my fav place in the world), and after a brief run in with my libyan stalker, i bought 2 perfumes (Burberry Brit Shear and Escada Sunset something - i was in a fruity mood), perfekt, smashbox halo powder, laura merceier's tinted moisturizer and an impulse buy Stila blush. I was given my sephora bday gift (eventhough it was March 1st now) and to my surprise, it was a philosophy Vanilla Cake scented shower gel! now i literally have more shower gels then weeks left for graduation! i know im shower crazy but even i cant finish a bottle a week!

Why I Love Easter

So, I'm not a Christian and I do not celebrate Easter but it has got to be the most adorable holiday ever! Everywhere I'm going, I'm seeing chocolate eggs with the cutest decorations and my new favorite..CHOCOLATE CARROTS! I'd put a picture of them up but i kinda ate em all mwahahaha.
